Indigenous Bible School
Global Frontier Missions hosts an indigenous Bible school
each year from January through May. The goal is to raise up missionaries
and pastors in Oaxaca that can minister and reach
out to their own people group.
The school includes teachings on Old and New Testament Survey, praise and
worship,
prayer, teaching the Bible orally, church planting, discipleship, spiritual
warfare, character, etc. There is a very strong focus on discipleship as
we spend a lot of time with each student encouraging him/her in ministry.
One of the best strategies for reaching Oaxaca is training the people here to
do the work. We and other missionaries have been involved in church planting
and seen a lot of fruit, but we really believe that God wants to raise up an
army of nationals to reach the unreached people groups here. They just
need training, resources, and encouragement which is what we focus on giving
them. Please pray that these students would make an eternal difference
in Oaxaca.
